t fal cookware care

Do you need to “season” hard anodized pans? what do you use? are there any special…?

…”secrets” or things I should do to
keep the pans looking new? Are these type pans the same as what T-Fal used to be? If they are different can you give me the proper care and use of them-what you do with yours? I have had Tfal so know about those. I am just unsure about hard anodized, how to treat it, care, etc. Need help tips and suggestions. Would be nice to get someone elses experience with this type of cookware.

But you can “prepare” your non-stick pans (the inside at least). Heat the pan on medium setting, wipe the hot surface (carefully) with an oily paper towel. Let it cool. Repeat one more time.

Non-stick surfaces actually have microscopic “holes and cracks” that open and close depending on the temperature of the pan. If you put a little oil in those “spaces” you’ll appreciate the effect.

As for the outside of the pan, I haven’t found anything that will TOTALLY clean them without affecting the surface finish — something you definitely DON’T want to do.
